During 2006 i added a page assuming that, owing to the starting of the convergence PDA/Cellular phone, the pda,
as known at that time, could origin two different types of devices.
First type, as result of the mentioned convergence, was a new object, at that time still not defined .
The second type of device created to meet the wishes of the users to use the Pda as a real miniPC, was a real model
of nanoPC able to run the O.S of their desktop,
During 2007 the page was modified taking note of the Origami opearation that established the details of the future UMPC,
model that was the first step to start the construction of that nanoPCs I thought they had to be born.
Now in 2008, i can say that have been delivered models, that i consider the starting point of future evolutions, but also the
arrival point of what i assumend as Future during the 2006 (as above written the end and the start of the Future)
The evolution of the future models differs for the actual well known Pda/Pda phone that will continue to add further service
to maintain an hight price stable and the real innovative units that offer perhaps a reduced set of service but an easy use
at a low cost.
Well, it is now the time to see which are the real models that i consider so innovative to start the way to the future.:
Looking at the pictures somebody will ask why there in no HTC models, notwithstanding the leader position of HTC in this market.
Well, i really consider HTC the best or one of the best manufacturer of Pda/Phone but i have to note also that during the time of their
direct commercialization they delivered so many model to confuse any user choice but all inspired to the standard Pda phonei.
(basically without any real innovation for the future)
Yes the launched the Touch that appeared to be a reply to the iPhone. If we wish to consider the advanta or shift model they are two
good units but the first is quite limited owing to the used O.S. while the second is a good UMPC but is unacceptable its price to hight
In few words if the new models are missing of the fantasy to trace new ways they cannot be considered somthing of different of the
OQO (for UMPC) or a Treo or any other already known phone Pda model. .
It is time, anyway to see the derail of the above shown models and to justify the reason foe which i consider them a real start point .
The first is the iPhone.
I do not want to consider all the words spents to define this object or to show the good or bad things that the same includes.
I want consider only few details of this device.
First its exential form factor, so simple to be a common object but at the same time to be able to surprise and to become a
new standard.
And i think that anyone cannot declare that this model does not influence the items produced by the competitors.
It is so innovative, even if simple, as the HTC l Qtek S100 when they offer the first pda phone with a 2.8' screen.
And Apple must be appreciated for the handly input system and for the O.S. even if too closed for the moment

The second device to consider (even if out of the common schemes) is the Nokia N810.
Here we are in presence of the result of a bet like already said dedicating one page to the predecessore N770.
Initially i do not think that Nokia was sure of the commercial results of that strange object that was placed between
a Pda and common media player with dimensions reduced but still valid in order to satisfy the use of Web navigator.
We have to note that the object was not bad and really represented that cross-sectional device that allowed Nokia to
operate in field without explicit risk of a flop in the Pda market..
I mean to say that until from the N770 model (that for first it provoked interest) Nokia has in hand an object that can easy
transform in a nanoPC or in a PdaPhone.. or in something of better if any
Sure E' also that the S.O. Linux (that it represents the diversity regarding WM and to a Palm in disuse) has made its part.

The three mentioned objects therefore represent opportunity of development that can be worth of monitorize,
first of all they represent new O.S introducing new antagonists between the actual systems like WM and Symbian, reopening also
to a possible system Palm (pseudo Linux) if the stasis trades has not caused them damages. (where are you Foleo?)
Moreover on the road traced by these devices there is also the low cost along with a reduced but fully usable services .
Less extended it could be the evolution of the Nokia, than still it remains to the center with its characteristic of pure Internet Tablet,
